Welcome to the website for multi-agency public protection arrangements in Northern Ireland (PPANI), jointly operated by the Police, Probation, Prisons, Social Services and other Government and Voluntary Organisations

Sexual and violent crimes have a serious and long term impact on the victims and their families. They also create great public concern and fear about the ongoing risk to others, particularly to children.

Strategic Management Board


The Strategic Management Board meets on a quarterly basis and is chaired by a senior representative from the PSNI, the Probation Board and the Prison Service on a three year rotational basis.
